urgent - How to customize VD Lead upload columns?

Postby Vici687 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 5:29 am

Dear all, i tried to search this everywhere but failed. I shall greatly appreciate if anyone could help me in this:
We have an outbound campaign which requires calls to be made to those customer who are over due in their payments. We have 10+ agents with avg 1000 calls/day expected. The problem when we upload a lead in VD it shows these fields e.g LIST ID,PHONE CODE,PHONE NUMBER,TITLE, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE INITIAL, LAST NAME . . . ETC

and we have to set the corresponding column in the Lead file. However what we want is these fields to appear in AGENT GUI interface :
Phone Number, NAME,Security Deposit,Credit Limit,Package,Overdue,Outstanding,Due Date, COMMENTS . . . ETC

As we can see we dont have any issue for Phone number, Name, comments etc. as they are also the same in VD Agent GUI interface but the Security Deposit,Credit Limit,Package,Overdue,Outstanding,Due Date etc are all different from what this GUI has to offer.

I know some fellows will answer that i should go to the code of this AGENT GUI page and change these but my worry is that might disturb any other dependencies where the DEFAULT fields are defined.

I will really appreciate any help on this because this issue will the the deciding factor of this project.

1) Welcome to the party! 8-)

2) You should be aware that you are using a software package called "Vicidial". Goautodial is the "installer", it's not the actual software. As such, this particular board (the "VicidialNow - GoautoDial" board) is for Installer questions primarily. But since your question is not an "installer" questions, you would do much better to post your query in the "Support" board (since you are asking for support for Vicidial).

3) Newbie Suggestions! ...

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

4) Later versions of Vicidial have Custom Fields plus the ability to relabel the other fields. My advice would be to upgrade to the latest if you do not have custom fields in your version. (Actually, even if you do have them, I'd recommend upgrading as there are many new toys!).

5) Happy Hunting! 8-)
