Session id clash

Postby 14sudharsan » Sat Mar 23, 2013 2:02 am

Im using vicibox with Open suse OS

Vicidial VERSION: 2.2.1-237
BUILD: 100510-2015

Asterisk 1.4.21.2-vici currently running on Dialing servers

Hi Team,
we are facing very often session id clash .
First i explain my setup of calling

we have One Vicidial server DB ip = 192.168.1.10
Dialer 5 = 192.168.1.5
Dialer 14 = 192.168.1.14

Following things i have checked .
They logged in unique phone login , unique user id , Unique ip for all systems using dhcp server.
Main thing is they both who's facing session id clash

They are different dialing servers = example user1 = Dialer 192.168.1.5 , user40 = Dialer 192.168.1.14

One More doubt = We are using Sip & iax account in both server mixed . This might be a reason ?

. Untill unless i restart the servers it's not getting solved session id clash .. Kindly help me on this issue

please post your installation method for these servers. it helps. also your method of clustering.

i do not understand "session id clash". you should post the actual error from your screen or be more descriptive so we can understand what you mean by session id clash.

Actually . In vicidial -- Login--> campaigns --> Real-Time Report

Unable to attache Screen shot error : Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs.

As of now i don’t have session id clash problem today i have restarted servers .

It was assigned same session id by vicidial automatically with two calling agents. So that automatically one user getting go back error . They unable to continue vicidial agent calling page.

Is that any possibility to change session id manually in real time without restart the servers ?

Three year back vicidial installed clustering by my Manager.
He followed steps vicibox redux documentation steps only he followed .

If your system has this sort of error, usually it is indicative of a bigger problem. And the restart resolved that bigger problem. Is your server/cluster overloaded? Tables crashed (some systems repair tables at reboot ..)? HD full?

i do not see anything resembling an explanation of what a session id clash is. no error from a screen, no description of a failed login or call or terminated call ... it would be very useful to know what the symptom is before attempting to offer insight.

also: which version of Vicibox did you install with? and what directions did you use to cluster your system? (a link would be handy ...). It would also be useful to know if this problem is recent on a long-running system or if you just built the system or just clustered it recently and the problem has been there since you installed or clustered or performed some other maintenance.
