Agent 3-way

Postby mac.maglaque » Tue Mar 26, 2013 4:47 pm

Good morning to all,

Whenever an agent is connected to a transfer line, there will be times that another agent will be on the same conference so the transfer line will hear 2 agents at the same time. On the live reports, it shows that two agents are on a 3-way line.

It would be grateful to get solutions from you guys.

Thank you in advance.

Are you saying this is somehow a bad thing? It's called a warm transfer ...

Perhaps you could benefit from our Newbie Suggestions 8-)

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

Hi William,

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that an agent is transferring a call to an outside line. Once the agent gets connected to the transfer line, another agent's line gets in the 3-way which shouldn't be since we are not transferring to another agent but to an outside line.

I'll get the details of my vicidial/goautodial server then I'll add it to my signature.

Describe, button for button, key for key, the agent's procedure to generate the 3-way call. Maybe they are just pushing the wrong button. And consider using the Vicidial Manager's Manual procedure to re-create it with someone having NO knowledge of the topic, perhaps that "uninfected brain" will perform the task properly and you can then re-train the others.

Alternately, of course, it is entirely possible you have a problem with your installation ... especially if it is a Scratch install or an upgraded install. 8-)
