Play Estimated Hold Time

Does anyone know why this is never working properly? When customers enter the queue the estimated hold time is mostly announced to be 15 seconds while customers are always waiting longer then that and then start complaining about it.

You just gotta push ALL the buttons don't you? Next you'll want someone to build a new lead recycle module.

I've never used estimated hold time! LOL

Have you tried this on a queue with many clients holding? Have you looked at the code to see how it bases the estimate? Maybe it only works if you have Queuemetrics. 8-)

But i just love all those buttons :-)

I didn't look at the code yet. I'm just guessing it's a crappy Asterisk 1.4 function that no one uses.

not likely an asterisk function as we do not use asterisk queues. only vicidial would have the information regarding how many people are in queue and what the average wait time per person is ...
