Hello,
Is there any restriction on the pattern of phone extensions that can be created?
The script sip-iax_phones.sql which comes with the vicidial source creates the phones with the pattern 'cc<number>', is it necessary to maintain this pattern. I have users logins like 7701,7702..... I also created phones with extensions and agent screen logins as 7701,7702,.... I have tested this and it works, but I don't know if this causes any trouble in the reports. Does anyone know of any issues that may be caused by having the same names for agent logins, phone logins and extensions.

no restrictions, but a warning:
if you have sip phone registrations that are between 100 and 10000, and your firewall allows Public IP access ... you will eventually get hacked. if you have a whitelist only firewall or a LAN-Only access system, you may be safe. but having text and numbers in the phone extension name reduces your hack vulnerability by an order of magnitude.
