Hello;

VERSION: 2.4-309a, BUILD: 110430-1642, GoAutoDial CE 2.1, 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.goPAE (SMP), Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Single Machine

I need the call to come to the DID and then a welcome message and then to be routed for an extension. I tried to send it to the Call Menu, but the problem that in the Menu, to send for extension, we have to press a digit (0 or 1 or 2 or ... etc). What I need is to hear the welcome message and send directly to the extension without need to enter any digits from the caller, HOW?

I found that the Ingoup has the ability to ply a welcome message and then send for agent .. but I do not need to send for agent, I need to send for extension.

What is the solution?
DID --> Welcome Message --> Extension "without requesting the caller to enter any digit".

set your seconds to 1 (or perhaps -1? experiment!) and create a button press for timeout and invalid to go where you want it to go. these button press options don't actually require a button ... they are there for the special situations of a timeout and/or an invalid response.

you could also use an ingroup with a 1 second drop for this same thing

Thanks a lot william.
What if I let the DID send for extension and I handled this in the extensions by writing some sentences by my self .. But in this case, I will not be able to find a good reporting .. But also, if I used ur previous scenario, is there a reporting for the call menu or for the queue?

How do u think about it?

i think if you are unsure, you should set it up with one of the two ways I suggested and check your reporting after a few test calls. you'll likely never find a need to "write your own". 8-)
