I have this very different issue. Here is what I am getting.

When I am doing two campaign manual dialing, I have trunk short is coming. Two campaign of auto dialing also same.

But when I am doing one Manual and one in predictive mode, it goes good for some time, and then the trunk short started from predictive dialing one. Then dialer is not dialing in auto mode. Please help me the cause of this error, so I can resolve this issue.

I noticed, My Asterisk is also stopping automatically

Disconnected from Asterisk server

Hi,

asterisk--1.2.14
libpri-- libpri-1.2.4
zaptel--zaptel-1.2.12
astguiclient version--2.0.2
Linux kernel--2.6.18
Linux distro--fedora


I found my processor is xe64 bit.
S5000VSA intel motherboard

How I'm going to install slackware in this machine along with vicidial and asterisk.I found this might be the problem.Any information will be great help.

I think this might be one of the bugs that has been fixed in the 2.0.3b3 release. If you can, give it a try.

Hi,

After updating the problem of trunk shortfall has gone. But yesterday I was dialing with two campaign and it was kind of slow, but call was going.

But today to same list, I am able to dial one campaign with charm and not able to dial 2 campaign. With SIP, I am getting this message

-- SIP/216.144.238.154-0871e6f0 is circuit-busy
== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/1/0)

Please advise me when I have to check.

That's a SIP message from either your carrier or Asterisk saying that either the line you are trying to call is congested or your carrier can't take the call you are trying to send. How many concurrent calls is this with?

i have only 23 channel max. this i think is due to invalid number a lot in lead set.

i noticed this issue also.

I have 9 agents dialing. My dialing load average is .56 to 1, some time 1.5 max. I have only one server.

I am dialing in ratio mode with 3.
At the beginning of my dialing, if I have 5 agent is waiting, the dialer is dialing 15 calls. I have noticed, this dialing level is reducing after some time. And it is reaching at a point where agent will be waiting but the dialer is not dialing any calls after 3-4 hours.

In middle, I am noticing, if one agent waiting, still the dialer is not dialing. After 2-3 agent, it start dialing.

By executing this /usr/share/astguiclient/AST_reset_mysql_vars.pl, the dialer is coming back to normal again.

I am thinking some congestion is happening at database. But I have no message in Mail log..

Please let me know what i need to check or missing.

coming to the above problme of mine.
i saw in my
select * from vicidial_auto_calls ;

i have 24 row, even though i have stopped dialing. coule you please tell me where i have done wrong or the cause, for which this number are not clearing from table.

Looks like you are dialing numbers that are not dialable in your dialplan. I would suggest filtering your leads before you import them.

I was watching vicidial_auto_calls Table, the number is going up and down. But I saw the some 20 numbers are laying and not able to clear.

The number are I checked is valid 10 digit number, but invalid number.

How to clear this number at the time of dialing.


Also please let me know how i can filter this number in lead set.

Did the numbers all begin with 1 or have 1 as the 4th digit(XXX1XXXXXX)?

In either case, they are impossible numbers in the USA since the area code and prefix cannot start with one. If you use NXXNXXXXXX in your dialplan then these are not even getting to a dial command or the call_log agi.

One way to fix is to send them on anyway by changing NXXNXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXXX wherever it appears, which will try to dial those numbers anyway and properly put them through the dialplan for VICIDIAL.

I use a separate filter system that filters by the NANPA database of valid area codes for leads in the USA and Canada:

after upgrading it went good for one day.

but now i noticed, the reason i was not able to dial was, because of
TRUNK SHORT/FILL: 416 / 0

I have no issue in trunk. could please give me hints, how i can resolve this issue.

I upgraded the same time as you did and I cannot duplicate again. Are you sure there are no copies of the old version of that script on your system?

Hi,
i got the same trunk short again, but this time, dialing ratio both campaign no issue. but one manual and other ratio is giving trunk shortfall and stopping the auto dail.

but as soon i chang to manul both, the trunk short message is going away. table vicidial_campaign_server_stats is coming to 0 unlike before.

I checked i have AST_VDauto_dial.pl is what you have updated on 23rd of March rest other script, i have upgrade from SVN.

Please help.
